Our Story

Begun in 2022 by a group of undergraduate students from Singapore, SkyBlue Capital is the country's first student-initiated quantitative finance enterprise. It specializes in the use of mathematical modelling and AI algorithms to monitor the financial markets.

SkyBlue Capital launched its first prop fund – the iconic SkyBlue BASIC fund – in February 2022 to provide capital growth by trading monies in the CFD markets. The fund arranges various contracts-for-differences on foreign currencies, precious metals, and commodities. This fund was then renamed as SkyBlue FxCom Alpha Fund in July 2023 to denote its high-growth forex and commodity focused nature. It is currently closed and does not admit any new clients, as we settle regulatory requirements with the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

But with the properitary algorithms that powered our fund's success, SBC is now in the process of democratizing our trading signals and services to aid other fund managers and retail traders in their activities. Planned in line are a range of AI-powered SaaS and financial educational products that will propel our startup to be an all-rounded leader in Southeast Asia's FinTech domain.
